What am I ‘working’ on? Personally? …

Funny you should ask!  I’m always ‘working’ on something.

I can’t help it.  I know me.  If I don’t look at my life and what is going on inside me then how do I hope to change it and grow?  What chance have I got if I don’t propel myself further?  No one else is going to get me ‘there’.  So….  back to the original question…  What am I working on these days?  I am working on something that sounds so simple but if it was I would have mastered it years ago.  It’s to live in a reality where I don’t have to do anything to be validated.  I don’t have to try so hard to be loved.  I don’t have to be right all the time to be worthy.

Aha…. that last one is pretty tricky, actually.  I also don’t have to play myself down to be accepted.  I don’t have to pretend that I don’t have something awesome to contribute.  I don’t have to act goofy or over friendly when I’m really feeling like hanging back.  I don’t have to do anything.  I just have to be.  I just have to be me.  And what I have to offer right now, and where I am in my life, right now, is enough.  That is what I’m working on.  And you? …………….
